Small packs. Careful counts.
Pharmacies
A pharmacy’s stock is small, valuable and easy to lose track of. A missing carton shows. A missing strip doesn’t. Tabs is inventory and sales software being built for a shop like that.
Record the batch and expiry on each product, see what is running low, and put a name on every sale. Tabs keeps your stock and sales records. It doesn’t handle prescriptions, and it won’t warn you when a date is close, so check your expiry dates the way you do now. Tabs hasn’t launched yet.

01 · Fields
Batch and expiry, on the product.
Add your own fields to products, such as expiry date and batch number, and fill them in as stock arrives. They sit on the product’s page with everything else you know about it.
- Fields you name yourself
- One value for the product, or one per variant
- Tabs records the date. It doesn’t send expiry reminders
02 · Low stock
Never out of the things people need.
Set a reorder level on the lines you must always have. Tabs flags them on the Inventory page and the dashboard, and the bell tells you when one crosses its level.
- Filter by supplier on order day
- Send damaged goods back, on record
- Stock value at cost
03 · Counting
Count one shelf at a time.
Tabs shows what it expects and you type what is there. Only what you counted is corrected, and every correction is kept with the name of who counted.
- Count your valuable lines every week
- Short and over, item by item
- No need to close the shop
04 · The counter
A name on every sale.
Give each person at the counter their own login and a role. You see who sold what and when, and a sales attendant can sell without being able to change a price or see your cost.
- Roles you design yourself
- Activity on every product and order
